Mindfulness in Nature
Bringing moment-by-moment awareness to a walk in the countryside or even a gentle stroll round the garden or your local park can be rewarding and enjoyable. Rather than being with your thoughts, learn to pay attention with all your senses. Spending just 30 minutes a week walking or sitting in a wood or near trees can bring huge benefits to health and wellbeing.
I have a special interest in mindfulness in nature. I encourage engagement with the natural world as a key to unlocking the full potential of mindfulness to enrich, enliven and bring joy into our lives.
I am hoping to set up opportunities for local people to engage with nature through walks on Eaton Common in Norwich. Check here for dates and times.
These are low-cost events lasting up to an hour and a half. Feel free to pop along and see what we get up to. We’ll be learning together as we go.
